Hillgrove secondary school’s canteen is newly renovated as of November 2023 with a modern Scandinavian theme, together with the attached toilets that encompasses new fixtures and fittings as well as handicap facilities. The re-design of the canteen was done with the input of the students and staff. It serves halal, non-halal and vegetarian cuisines. Our canteen also has two new infotainment display that showcases announcements and Channel News Asia to keep the students up to date with current events.
Vegetarian cuisine are available only upon request. Additionally, we have a Japanese/Korean cuisine stall.

Interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (SPR) for stallholder and stall assistant.
Committed to providing good service and quality food with prices determined in consultation with the school.
Able to provide cooked food that meets the health / nutritional standards set by the Health Promotion Board (HPB) under the Healthy Meals in Schools Programme (hpb.gov.sg). This includes providing a serving of fruits with the meal.
Able to maintain high standard of food safety and personal hygiene.
Healthy and fit to operate the stall.
Successful applicant and stall assistant(s) must possess the WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (SFA).
Possess catering experience or experience operating in a school environment.
Upon successful award, the stallholder is expected to:
Apply for a food stall license from Singapore Food Agency (SFA).
Commence operation of the stall as soon as possible.
Operate the stall based on the menu (approved by school), from Monday to Friday during school term time.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified for an interview and will be required to provide food sampling for the School Canteen Selection Committee at the applicant’s own expense.

Attach the following documents together with the application form.
Photocopy of NRIC (front and back)
List of proposed menu and pricing for all items
Photocopy of relevant certificates such as Basic Food Hygiene Course, etc.
Submit the completed application form and documents by 15 Dec 25 via email OR to the School's General Office.
