Sec 1 Personal Learning Device Rollout 2023

At MOE’s Committee of Supply Debate in March 2020, MOE launched the National Digital Literacy Programme (NDLP) for schools to help students strengthen their digital literacy. 

Last week was a special moment for our Secondary One Hillgrovians as they finally received their much-awaited Apple iPads. 

The event started off with a ceremony where our school leaders handed over the iPads to the chairperson of each class. Following that, form teachers led their excited students through a process of unboxing and setting up the new iPads.  

Just like their seniors, these Secondary 1 students will benefit from collaborative and self-directed learning through platforms such as the Student Learning Space (SLS), Padlet, Google documents etc. We look forward to engaging students in learning through their Personal Learning Device (PLD).
