Sec 3N Cohort Programme

During their week of cohort programs, our Sec 3N students could be found doing a range of unorthodox activities, from mixing and advertising mocktails to making sculptures of trees from balloons. Activities like these sought to increase their familiarity with one of four industries of their choice – F&B, Arts and Entertainment, Business, and Sports. Through workshops held across four days by external vendors, students learnt practical, hands-on skills, even designing comprehensive websites complete with projected sales and marketing strategies. They also went on a field trip to gain more direct exposure to the operations behind a company in their selected industry. On the final day, they made presentations on what they had learnt to school leaders, and even gave artefacts of their learning -- from flower bouquets to home-baked cakes – to members of the school community. This Applied Learning Module is part of a series of programs aimed at better grounding students’ career decisions as they move toward the next phase of their education journey.
