Hari Raya Celebration Concert 2025: A Joyous Celebration of Culture and Community
On 16 April 2025, our school came alive with the colours, sounds, and spirit of Hari Raya during a vibrant concert that brought together students, staff, and the wider school community. The event was a testament to our school’s appreciation of cultural diversity and unity.
The concert featured an array of performances that highlighted the rich traditions of the Malay culture. Audiences were treated to a captivating Malay dance performance, followed by a heartwarming choir rendition of the beloved folk song ‘Rasa Sayang Eh’. A soulful Hari Raya number, sung by our multiracial group of teachers, further added to the evening's warmth and significance.
A special tribute video was played in honour of our late librarian, Mdm Zaleha Ahmad, whose dedication and contributions continue to inspire many in our school community. Adding to the festive spirit, our staff band energized the crowd with a lively musical set.
The Parent Support Group also contributed a beautifully produced Hari Raya music video, which was met with much appreciation. One of the evening’s most memorable highlights was a dazzling traditional Malay costume showcase, where both teachers and students confidently walked the runway in stunning attire.
The concert was a heartening celebration of togetherness, tradition, and talent—truly embodying the spirit of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
