Updating of School Managed Apple IDs
Dear Student/Parent,
As part of Hillgrove Secondary School's continual process to enhance and improve security and privacy for all students using their Personal Learning Device - PLD (iPads) in and out of school, with immediate effect, the school will be updating the usernames format for all school managed Apple IDs.
Current format of Apple IDs: <<SLS ID>>@appleid.hillgrovesec.moe.edu.sg
(example: johns2345A@appleid.hillgrovesec.moe.edu.sg)
New format of Apple IDs: <<student iCON username>>@appleid.hillgrovesec.moe.edu.sg
(example: john_smith@appleid.hillgrovesec.moe.edu.sg)
Instructions for students:
When you turn on your iPad and connect to the WIFI, a message prompt will appear to indicate that your iPad's current Apple ID has be logged off.
Please click on Settings and then click on Sign in to this iPad.
Sign in with the new format of the Apple ID username.
Enter in your current Apple ID password.
If you are unsure of your new Apple ID username format, please click here to be directed to our school's Apple ID database to search for yours.
If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, please click here to request a reset and one will be sent to your student iCON email address within 1-3 working days.
