Autonomous Self- Driving Cars! Vroom!! 🚘🖲️

In this SIL,you will learn how AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Computer Vision (CV) are applied in self-driving cars. You will also explore these concepts through hands-on using mBlock and then apply your knowledge to create a self-driving sprite-based car by training a ML model to recognize road signs.

Step 2: CREATE

Follow the instructions in activities 2 to 7 to train your own self-driving car to recognise directional arrow signs and react accordingly using mBlock.

Facial Recognition! How does it work? 🧑‍🧕🧑‍🦱

In this SIL, you will learn how facial recognition is used in different areas like security and retail. You will get a chance to use mBlock to explore the basics of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and  Computer Vision (CV), then apply what you learn to create models for recognizing emotions and age.

a) Follow the instructions in activities 2 to 5 build a simple AI models, one to detect smiles or emotions and put test out your AI

b)  Follow the instructions in activities 6 to 8 to build an AI model that can recognise age and gender, using mBlock.

In this SIL, you will explore the exciting world of AI and machine learning and their real-life applications. Through through fun games and experiments, you will brainstorm creative solutions to real-world problems using AI technology. 

This lesson may take more than an hour to complete. You can choose to complete parts of it and return to the lesson during a second HBL day. This is an advance SIL module. You are advise to try out at least 3 other AI SIL modules before proceeding with this.
