New Media Club (NMC), is a CCA that is made up of passionate students and teachers alike, working together with a goal of capturing moments celebrated by the school community.

What can you learn from New Media?

NMC members learn and develop essential skills, like their ability to lead, work effectively with others and communicate. And of course, members will master an array of photography or videography skills. With techniques ranging from photojournalism to livestream to video editing.

Covered School Events

ECLAT + YOUTHPHORIA

The roaming crew covered the events of the performance and the booths in biennial Youthphoria.

Collaborating with the performers, arranging a light choreography to go with the show, setting up a multi-cam system. All in a day's work in NMC!

C-DIVISION SOCCER BOYS

We managed to cover the match between Commonwealth C Division Soccer Boy vs Jurongville C Division Soccer Boy during the West-Zone semi final and the Commonwealth C Division Soccer Boys vs Swiss Cottage C Division Soccer Boys during the West-Zone 3rd place match.

Our photographers and videographers went there to support the boys and capture them in action!

Games Day 2

During our once-a-semester Games Day, we went to the National Stadium to play in the different events.

Our students put in all their focus and effort into winning the different games for their class. Go Commonwealthiens!

Bonding Activities

KAMPONG GLAM

During Term 3, we went to Kampong Glam to cover a theme 'vanishing trades'. The photo specialisation did a photo series while the video specialisation did an interview on passers-by. NMC members walked around kampong glam to take the photos and videos.

A time for bonding and a time for fun as NMC members and teachers come together to have a delicious feast cooked by our CCA teacher Mr Sim himself. Fun and delicious all in one!
