双文化课程

Our Bicultural Education Programme seeks to provide opportunities for students to be immersed in activities that will enhance their global awareness and cross-cultural competencies, such as understanding the national and cultural identity, and developing socio-cultural sensitivity and awareness, which are essential competencies required in the 21st century.

我们的双文化课程旨在为学生提供浸润式的活动，拓展他们的国际视野与提升跨文化素养，使之成为具有国家文化认同与社会文化敏觉性的二十一世纪公民。

It is structured into four main categories:

1. Formal Curriculum

- Appreciation of Chinese Culture & Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Lessons (Sec 1 & 2 students)

- Tea Art Lessons (Sec 1 to 4 students)

2. Local Cultural Learning Journeys

- Malay Heritage Centre (Virtual Learning for 2021)

- Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (Virtual Learning for 2021)

3. Docent Training Programmes

- River Hongbao Exhibition

- Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall

- School Heritage Centre

4. Overseas Immersion Learning Programmes

*These immersion trips are for selected Sec 2 & 3 students, but have been shelved in 2020 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, we have a virtual Immersion Learning Programme instead.

四大活动项目：

1. 正式课程：中华文史知识课程与书画课程（中一、中二学生）、茶艺欣赏课程（中一至中四学生）

2. 本地文化学习之旅：马来文物馆、孙中山南洋纪念馆（2021年采线上进行）

3. 导览员培训计划：春到河畔特展、孙中山南洋纪念馆、中正文物馆（部分中二、中三学生）

4. 海外浸濡学习计划：前往中国、台湾等地。（部分中二、中三学生）

*2020年此项目因新冠疫情而暂停；2021年此项目改为线上形式。
