2026 CHEER ART COMPETITION: Showing Care Through Art
Build a school where everyone looks out for each other by expressing the spirit of care through your creativity! This competition invites you to design a poster based on the CHEER framework to show your schoolmates what it means to be there for a friend.
THEMES BY LEVEL
Each level is assigned a specific theme. Your artwork must express your assigned theme through visuals—do not include the theme as text on your poster.
Primary 1: Calm them down
Primary 2: Hear them out
Primary 3: Empathise with them
Primary 4: Encourage seeking help
Primary 5 & 6: Refer to a trusted adult
CATEGORIES & MEDIUM
Students may submit entries in the following categories:
Drawing and Painting
Digital Art
ARTWORK DIMENSIONS
All entries must adhere to the following dimensions:
Physical artwork: Square format, 18cm x 18cm
Digital artwork: 2400 × 2400 pixels at 300 DPI. Submit your artwork as a JPEG or PNG file.
Please ensure that your artwork meets the required dimensions before submission. Entries that do not meet the specified dimensions may not be considered.
SUBMISSION DETAILS
Method: Submit your entries directly to your respective Art Teachers
Digital Art: Must be submitted to your art teacher via email
Submission Deadline: 14 August 2026
COMPETITION RULES
Feature Our DLs: Your poster must feature the school Dynamic Learner(s)
Originality: All entries must be your own original work
Limit: Only one entry is allowed per student
Visual Storytelling: Use your artwork to tell the story of your theme without using the CHEER title as text
PRIZES & AWARDS
The top 15 designs (3 for each theme) will receive:
Their design printed as a poster to be displayed around the school
A Certificate of Excellence
A special stationery gift set

By submitting an entry to Ai Tong School, the participant agrees to the rules stated above and allows the school to share his/her personal data on the website to publicise or showcase the work.
We reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not adhere to the rules and regulations, and to the works that do not deem fit for the purpose of the event.
