RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR DIGITAL CENTOPOETRY PRESENTATION
WHAT IS CENTOPOETRY?
Centopoetry is a combination of lines from established poems, lyrics or stories used in a poem.
WHAT IS DIGITAL CENTOPOETRY?
Digital centopoetry involves transforming a centopoem into video form by adding visuals, music, narration and other multimedia elements in order to animate the poem.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The final poem must be authentic and based on your own creativity.
Participants must cite the poems that they have used/referred to in the final poem.
Participants may include the reference list at the end.
Only published poems would be accepted as references. Poems must be by well known authors in the field or published poems with ISBN numbers.
Plagiarised work will be disqualified.
The content of the poem must be appropriate.
The poem should not touch on any inappropriate or sensitive topics.
Participants must register on the Google Registration Form via the link provided.
Participants must upload their poem using the link given.
All participants are allowed to submit ONE (1) poem.
By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by the rules of the competition.
JUDGING
The judge's decision will be final, and no appeals will be considered.
Individual marks will not be disclosed.
PARTICIPANTS
Open to all IPGK students [individual category].
LENGTH OF VIDEO
Length of the video should not exceed 3 minutes.
SUBMISSION OF CENTOPOETRY VIDEO
Upload your video to YouTube.
Obtain a YouTube link.
Send us the link through the entry form below.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Submit your competition entry forms by 4.30 p.m., 10 July 2024.
CLOSING CEREMONY VENUE AND DATE
IPGKBA Campus on Friday, 26 July 2024
CERTIFICATES
All participants will receive an e-certificate of participation to be sent to the email address indicated in the competition entry form.
PRIZES
The winners will be announced via the website by Friday 19 July 2024.
E-certificates of achievement will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners.
