Reading

The duration of the summer school eLearning content is designed to be 20 days. This may vary for each student. See the K - 5 Reading Pacing Guide for an estimation of days for topic completion.
Writing
Writing
The duration of the summer school eLearning content is designed to be 20 days. This may vary for each student. Students in Kindergarten have a variety of journal writing prompts. Students in grades 1-2 will go through a multi-day process writing experience. Each grade level will engage with a different type of writing. Students in grades 1-2 will also be provided with a variety of journal prompts from which to choose. Students in grades 3-5 will go through a literary and informational Text Dependent Analysis writing experience. They will also be provided with a variety of journal writing prompts from which to choose.
Math

The duration of the summer school eLearning content is designed to be 20 days. This may vary for each student. See the K - 5 Math Pacing Guide for an estimation of days for topic completion.
Word Work
Word Work
Students in grades K-3 will work at their own pace to learn and/or review as many new sight words as they can in 20 days. They will also engage in some learning games to build their word power! Students in grades 3-5 will work on a variety of games and activities to build their word power!
STEM
STEM
The top 3 projects listed on the top line of each page are aligned to students' grade level ranges. The projects beneath are additional projects that students can select based on interest.

Students may need to create accounts to access videos and lessons referenced within the Summer School website. Additional information about account creation may be found on the Virtual Learning Accounts page.
As you engage in learning this week, remember to make time for physical activity and find ways to be creative. Check out ideas on the Physical Activity Page and the Creativity Time Page. Get moving and get those "creative juices" flowing!
