I currently teach ESL for Johnson County Adult Education.
I first learned about the Modern Classrooms Project in 2020. I was searching for resources and tools to help me more effectively provide instruction in a digital space. I completed my learning that summer and began incorporating what I had learned. I became a mentor shortly after that and have discovered a new joy in collaborating with teachers worldwide.Â
One thing I love about MCP is that the model allows me to create space within my class to provide students with individualized learning and a community of like-minded teachers that help me to grow and thrive as an educator.
When not at school, you can find me reading a good book, spending time with my daughters, or playing pickleball with my husband.
