A Self-Directed Workshop for Innovative Educators

Welcome to Building the Modern Classroom!  This course will help you design a student-centered classroom that features blended instruction, self-paced structures, and mastery-based assessment.  It is our belief that such classrooms are better places for students to learn and for teachers to teach. We hope that, by the end of this course, you will agree.

Unit Planning Template

To download the Unit Planning Template, which is what you will complete, in order to receive credit for this course, open the Google Document below and make a copy for yourself.  You can do this in Google Docs, or by downloading the template as a Microsoft Word file. 

Pre-PD Self-Evaluation

Before moving on begin, please take a minute to complete this short pre-PD survey.  This is important baseline data for us and we hope it will prepare you to get as much as you can from our course.  As a reminder, you must complete all surveys in order to earn credit for this course.
