CAD has been an essential part of our robot during the season. We enjoy designing our parts that fit our needs. We have some people on our team who do our CAD: Bryce and Gabe. There are numerous custom parts on Jose that we didn’t have or could not get to work. We first model the parts in Fusion 360 and then print them on our Prusa 3D printers. We can use the CAD software to make them look however we want and add unique characteristics to personalize them. The parts are functional and look good.  Some examples of custom parts on our robot is the battery box and most of the ramp and shooting mechanism for shooting the artifacts.
