About Me

Welcome to third grade! It’s my pleasure to welcome your child as part of my classroom this year! I am so excited to be a part of the third grade team at Gratz Brown Elementary. It’s going to be a year filled with fun, learning, and new adventures.

Let me share a little about myself with you. I was born and raised on a farm in Bowling Green, Missouri. I received my Bachelor’s degree from University of Missouri in 2009. In 2013, I receive my Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Missouri Baptist University. I have taught first grade over the past four years. In July, I got married to my husband Andy and relocated to Macon, Missouri. My name is listed in several places a Miss Niemeyer.

Teaching has always been my passion. I love instilling a love of learning in my students so they become life-long learners. I love seeing that spark, that smile, and sense of pride a student feels when he or she accomplishes a difficult task or learns a new skill. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I would love to talk with you whenever you feel the need. I am looking forward to working with you to make this a successful and amazing year for your child.
