The teacher must be the last person to leave the Meet! It will ensure that no students can enter before or after.
If you have students that are able to join your Meet before you, please reset your Google Classroom Meet link.
Open your Google Classroom and click on the settings wheel.
Scroll to the Meet section and click on the dropdown arrow to the right of the Google Meet.
If you are sharing a YouTube video, please use the share tab function in Google Meet.
Go to Present Now and select A Tab.
Click the tab that has your YouTube video in it.
Click Share.
When presenting a Jamboard during a Google Meet, please select Entire Screen when using the Present Now feature. This will allow students to see your annotations. Only use this method if you do not want students to have access to the Jamboard file.
If you remove a student from a Google Meet, they will not be able to re-join the Meet until you end the current Meet and restart it again.
For staff members that are connecting to a Google Meet using two devices and having a difficult time viewing all students, use this extension and watch this video.

We currently do not have access to Google Meet Breakout Rooms. It is a feature only accessible to Google Enterprise users.
If you or your students are having a difficult time with connectivity issues, try the following
Turn off image blur or background.
Remove extensions - I have found in my other districts that if you are using the old GridView or an Attendance Tracker extension, they may give you grief.
Turn off camera.
Make sure no other unnecessary windows, tabs, or applications are running.
Control chat, presenting, and attendees.
