Do you love video games? Are you interested in developing your own games? In this class students learn key art, math and computer science programming concepts that are applied to video game productions. Instruction focuses on video game design. Students also learn how programming can apply to a wide variety of careers. All courses are taught using C# programming language with specific focus on the Unity Editor and covers a spectrum of introductory to advanced material. Advanced students have the opportunity to develop their skills in 3D programming, mobile applications, virtual reality, and 3D graphics. OSHA 10 certification. Students earn Tech Prep college credits through BBCC and can also gearn 2 BBCC credits for first aid/CPR.
You earn a total of three high school credits --Up to 3 occupational or elective credits and part of the 3 credits earned can be a combination of 1 art credit, 1 geometry or tech math credit, 1 English credit and 1 computer science credit.
