Digital Arts and Filmmaking is an exciting, creative course designed to educate students on the ever-changing digital world, as well as to provide hands-on experience with industry standard software and equipment. Topics covered in this course include graphic design, animation, audio production, post production, filmmaking, and web design. Students will use the full Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere Pro, LightRoom and AfterEffects. Other topics covered include sound design, logo creation, pre production and script writing, still photography, digital marketing and media creation for print and for YouTube. Students can earn 2 BBCC credits for first aid/CPR certification.
You earn a total of three credits per year for one or two year long course--Up to 3 occupational or elective credits per year. Part of the 3 credits earned can be 1 computer science credit, 1 English credit and 1 art credit.
