About Us
Cub Scout Pack 10 is located in beautiful Mountain Lakes, NJ just 25 miles west of New York City, nestled between Parsippany and Boonton. We are an active, mid-sized pack with a jam packed calendar and loads of programming for your K - 5th grade son. Newcomers are always welcome at our events or meetings and we look forward to the opportunity of introducing you to all we have to offer.

Our Kindergarten through 5th Grade Scouts are taught the Cub Scout Motto: "Do Your Best" in addition to the Scout Oath and Scout Law. These three pillars are the foundation for all of the programming and work we undertake.

Community Service
Community Service
As Cub Scouts we undertake several community service projects a year. This year we have done two food drives, cleared snow and garbage from local parks and public areas, planted tree saplings for the Mountain Lakes Woodlands Committee and Shade Tree Commission, participated in a drive for Toys for Tots and collected socks for the homeless.
The Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby
A long standing Cub Scout tradition is the Pinewood Derby! This year, like all the years before, we built our cars and Did Our Best! We also invite a local Girl Scout Troop to join us in the festivities and this important STEM activity.
The Great Outdoors
The Great Outdoors
Between Nature Hikes and Walks, special outings like Snow Tubing and Kayaking, Campouts in the Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter - we make a point of doing as much outdoors as we can!
Education and Awards
Education and Awards
Our scouts are constantly learning. Each rank has to complete a curriculum made up of Adventures to earn the next rank and advance. This year we had fun learning about fire safety from the MLVFD, Germs from a Microbiologist, animals from a Veterinarian, Archery and BB guns, and so much more!
