馬光國中介紹

馬光國中位於土庫鎮，屬於偏遠學校，學校占地面積4.68公頃。

Maguang Junior High School is located in Tuku Town, which is a remote school. The school covers an area of 4.68 hectares.  The school was established on July 21, 1983.

學校目前12班，包括3班藝才班，3班體育班，6班普通班。學生數258人。

The school currently has 12 classes, including 3 fine-arts art classes, 3 sports classes, and 6 ordinary classes. Our school has 258 students.

藝才班的主修樂器為管樂，大部份學生在國小階段並無音樂基礎，經過三年的音樂學習及多次校園展演，學生都能站上音樂廳進行正式演出。 

The talented fine-arts classes focus on woodwind ensembles. A majority of the students who play had no musical foundation in elementary school. After three years of studying music study and numerous campus performances, the students are able to conduct formal performances by the time they graduate. 

在每年的全縣音樂比賽中，管樂隊都能獲得很好的成績，並代表雲林縣參加全國賽。 

In the annual county-wide music competition, our woodwind band always achieves great results and we represent Yunlin County in the national competition. 

體育班的項目為棒球及排球。馬光國中棒球隊是雲林縣指定棒球重點發展學校之一，成立於2000年，獲得縣內多次比賽的冠軍，鄰近鄉鎮對棒球有興趣的學子都會來此就讀， 

Our sports classes include baseball and volleyball. The baseball team at Maguang Junior High School was selected by Yunlin  County Government to be a baseball development school in 2000.  Since then, we have won many championships in the county baseball games. Students from neighboring towns who are interested in baseball will come here to study like Nantou and Taichung. 

排球隊成立於1999年，最初為社團方式，學生利用下課後在球場練習及比賽。在2010年加入體育班，並由專業運動教練教學，獲得縣內多次比賽的佳績，在2021年獲得全國第三名的好成績。 

The volleyball team was established in 1999. It was originally a club, and students practiced and played on the court after class. The volleyball team joined the sport class in 2010 is taught by professional volleyball coaches.  Since joining, the team won many competitions in the county and placed third place in the national volleyball conference in 2021. 

球員們每天上課到下午兩點，然後開始做體能訓練及球類練習，晚上還有夜訓及課輔，最遲10點就寢。 

The players begin practice every day at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with physical training and ball games. In the evening, they go to night trainings and then attend supplementary school lessons.  They go to bed at 10 o'clock.

馬光國中前的道路，從崙內社區到馬光市區長約2公里，種滿上百棵羊蹄甲，樹齡都已有40年以上，每年3、4月花期樹上開滿粉紅色花朵，一眼望去粉紅花海，浪漫又幸福。 

The road in front of Maguang Junior High School is about 2 kilometers long from Lunnei Community to Maguang downtown. Every year, we have a spring festival to celebrate the blooming of the hundreds of orchid trees that lead up to the school in March and April. It looks like a sea of pink flowers and it reminds you of happiness and romance.
