In order to conclude this Institute on international exchange, you will take a break from talking about international exchange, to focus on storytelling. You will start by sharing a story of a time when you overcame a challenge, what the situation was and how you resolved it. NCDE staff will then discuss storytelling techniques, and how good stories can enable aspiring professionals to leverage the benefits that they have gained from studying or volunteering abroad. Students will then break out into small groups and practice short story delivery. You will then have the opportunity to practice telling your stories to the course group.
