LMI FORMATORS JOIN SEMINAR ON CREATING PRIESTLY FORMATION ITINERARY

On May 23-24, 2024 the formators of the four seminaries of the Archdiocese of Manila namely: San Carlos Seminary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary, Holy Apostles Senior Seminary, and the Lorenzo Mission Institute gathered at the LMI Heritage Hall for a two day seminar on the formulation of the Seminary Formation Itinerary based on the Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis and the Ratio Formationis Sacerdotalis Nationalis. The Formation Itinerary will serve as a guideline for seminary formation giving renewal and direction of priestly formation considering the signs of the times. It focused on the Human, Spiritual, Intellectual, and Pastoral programs that will be implemented in the years ahead to give updated framework of seminary formation in the Archdiocese of Manila. The path towards creating a formation itinerary was facilitated by Fr. Augusto Angeles of the Diocese of Daet and at the same time the executive secretary of the CBCP commission on seminaries.
