WHAT IS IT?

Padlet is an application to create an online bulletin board that you can use to display information for any topic. Easily create an account and build a new board. Choose from a variety of layouts and formats. Students can add images, links, videos, and more all from within your Canvas course.

Padlet says I can't make more, do I need to buy it?

No, you do not need to upgrade to the paid version of Padlet. You can modify Padlet boards as many times as you need. After you are done with each Padlet, we'd first recommend exporting the Padlet board to save as either an image or a PDF.

To export the Padlet:

  1. Click on the three dots "more" icon in the top right of the Padlet.

  2. Select Export and then choose how you would like to export as either an image, PDF, CSV, or spreadsheet.

To modify the Padlet:

  1. You'll first want to clear the board of all current responses. To do this, click on the three dots "more" icon in the top right of the Padlet and select Clear All Posts.

  2. To begin modifying, click on the three dots "more" icon again in the top right of the Padlet and select Modify to adjust the title, description, appearance and more for the Padlet Board.

  3. If you wish to adjust the layout, you can again select the three dots "more" icon and then choose Change Format to switch the Padlet board to a different layout. Once the adjustments are made, your new modified Padlet board is ready to reuse and share.
