The AI Leadership Cohort (ALC) is a selective program for educators, including teachers, district staff, and campus leaders, focused on the transformative potential of AI in education. Participants will explore AI tools to improve planning, instruction, data analysis, and student engagement. They will collaborate to develop skills for leading AI integration, model best practices to enhance educator effectiveness and student achievement, and provide feedback on AI tool usage in the district.
The AI Leadership Cohort (ALC) launched in Fall 2025 with 47 educators representing all feeder patterns and district departments. Year 1's focus was learning, exploring, and building a strong foundation for responsible AI use.
Together, Cohort members explored best practices for responsible and effective AI use, enhanced the district's AI Staff & Student Guides, and developed a role-specific Prompt Library on the AI Hub.
This year, the Cohort has grown to 60 educators, expanding representation and collaboration across the district. We are focused on applying AI with purpose, building confidence through practice, and sharing successful strategies and best practices to support innovation across Mansfield ISD.
