Dear ECHS Families,
I hope everyone had a great break.
The second semester for 9th and 10th graders will start on January 7th. The second semester for 11th and 12th graders will start on January 20th.
Second semester schedules for 9th and 10th graders are now available. Schedules for 11th and 12th graders will be available on January 10th. Check Skyward to view your schedule. New schedules will be printed out for 9th and 10th graders on January 7th. 9th and 10th graders will report to their Advisory class and will receive a schedule in their Advisory class.
Textbooks are due from the Fall. Please return textbooks if you have questions, please contact Dr. Leverette at michelleleverette@misdmail.org.
I have some exciting news to share. ECHS received two grants this school year. The first grant was awarded from the MISD Education Foundation. This grant will help with providing digital cameras for yearbook and additional tech services for the 11th and 12th grade classrooms. Please congratulate Mrs. Her for writing this grant. We also were awarded a grant from the American Heart Association. Our school will receive resources to assist with CPR, First Aid, and AED training. This is super exciting for our campus. Please congratulate Mrs. Meek who is the sponsor over the ECHS Heart Club and assisted with applying for this grant.

During the 89th Texas Legislative Session, the Texas Legislature passed Senate Bill 12 which requires school districts to obtain annual parental consent before providing routine school based physical and mental health related services. Parents, consent forms were sent out in Skyward. Please review and sign your consent forms. Consent forms include - physical health, first aid, over the counter medication, asthma monitoring, and hearing, mental health, short term counseling, emotional support, social emotional skills,

July 23-24-Senior Pictures at the THS Library. These are your cap and gown drape/ tux pictures for the yearbook.
July 31st -Meet the Principal- 2pm- 4pm at the THS library
August 1st-Laptop Pick-Up for Juniors and Seniors- Come to the ECHS office and exchange laptops.
August 2nd- Back to School Bash- 8am-12pm at the MISD Performing Arts Center
August 8th- Chromebook Pick-Up for Freshman and Sophomores. Come to the ECHS office if you need a Chromebook.
August 8th-Schedules- Scholars will be able to view their schedule in Skyward for 5pm.
August 8th-Junior and Senior Night- at Timberview High School library 6:00pm-7:00pm
August 13th-First Day of School- All students will come to Timberview High School. 9th and 10th grade will follow ECHS schedule. 11th-12th graders will meet in the THS Performing Arts Center. - August 13th
August 22nd- Senior Sunrise@ 6:30am at Chandler Park
August 25th - TCC classes start for all students. Juniors and Seniors will start their 2nd say of school at TCC.

Remember when you are picking up your scholar and coming inside the building, please make sure you park in the visitor parking or park in a parking space that is not painted. Painted parking spaces are reserved parking for seniors only paid for the parking spot.

REQUIREMENTS FOR Spring 2026- TCC REGISTRATION
9th Grade
9th Grade scholars must pass TSI ELAR by April 15th to enroll into TCC History & TCC Sociology their 10th grade year. Scholars who are not TSI ELAR met by the due date will enroll into our high school US History course. Scholars will be granted one more year with ECHS to pass TSI ELAR.
9th Grade scholars must maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0 or above to stay in our collegiate program.
10th Grade
10th Grade scholars must pass TSI ELAR by April 15th. Students can test at ECHS or can schedule testing at TCC SE.
10th Grade scholars must prepare for submission of Immunization Record which must reflect Meningitis(MCV4) shot in order to take classes on TCC SE campus for summer or fall.
10th Grade scholars must maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0 or above to stay in our collegiate program.
11th Grade
11th Grade scholars must pass TSI Math in order to enroll into a TCC Math class which is what we use for our 4th Math high school credit. An associate degree cannot be earned without taking a TCC Math class.
11th Grade scholars must pass ENGL 1301/1302 their 11th grade year so that they may take ENGL Literature which is a HS and College credit requirement within our campus.
11th Grade scholars must maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0 or above to stay in our collegiate program.
12th Grade
12th Grade scholars must maintain a TCC GPA of 2.0 or above to stay in our collegiate program.
