Welcome to 3rd grade Math and Science!
This year in Math the students will be learning lots and lots. The first quarter we will cover shapes and place and value, second quarter will be multiplication and division, which will blend into area and perimeter for the third quarter. Followed by fractions, measurement, and graphs in the last quarter.
In science we will go over what is the scientific method and how does it apply to everything else we do in science. We will be learning about the states of matter, types of energy, space and The Sun (my favorite!), and classifying both plants and animals!!
About me
Hi! My name is Ms. Roth and this is my fourth year teaching 3rd grade at Minneola Charter. I'm super lucky to be team teaching with my best friend, Ms. Raines this year! I absolutely love Star Wars and going to Disney World! Both my classroom and my home are covered in Star Wars decor.
