  • On Tuesday, March 19, we were thrilled to host an author visit with the amazing and talented Tami Charles! Ms. Charles signed books for students and staff members in the morning and conducted 3 writing workshops with students throughout the day. All students who participated in the workshops were invited to the library for a social lunch with the author. Two student reporters from the school newspaper also came in to interview Ms. Charles. Please look for their article in the next issue of the Minisink Messenger. This was a wonderfully enriching experience for all who attended!!!

Classes in the library- English teachers bring their students to the library to check books out. All subject area teachers may book time in the library for research projects.

Lunch passes- Lunch passes are available to all students during lunch periods. Students must come to the library before going to the cafeteria to obtain a pass. Once the student has eaten, they must get their pass signed by a lunch aide and come directly to the library. Students should come prepared with school work, a book to read or ready to engage in some kind of meaningful activity.

Inter Library Loans- If our library does not have a book that a student is looking for, we can request it from another school in the district. Students also have the ability to borrow books from other schools in Orange county through the OU BOCES Library System.
