Happy first birthday, Pixel Petz! A new event is happening around town, so make sure to pick up those giftboxes you might see when visiting petz, and trade them in at the shop! New clothes and partz have also been stocked. :)

Contest #1: Design Your Own 2020

This is your chance to see your own design become part of Pixel Petz history!

Prizes:

• Winners will have their partz released in-game, and receive 60 gemz plus a month of Golden Token!

Details:

• Submissions must be only 1 body part (ears, eyes, mouth, head, body, or tail), not a whole pet
• You may submit as many times as you want.
• Art can be drawn on anything. Traditional, pixel art, finger painting, etc.
• At least 1 winner will be chosen by community vote, and 1 by staff vote. If there’s more submissions, more winners will be chosen, up to a max of 10.
• To join, you must follow us on Instagram or Facebook, then upload your submission to your own account and tag it #pixelpetzdyo2020
• Make sure to get the tag right so we can find it for voting!
• Submission deadline: March 31
• Voting: April 5 - April 20
• Winners announced: May 1

Rules:

• You must use your own art, do not trace or heavily inspire from existing art
• For any designs you submit, if chosen, you agree to let us release publicly, re-use or edit, or create derivatives from for use inside the game or outside as promotional graphics (ie as part of an ad banner or video clip).

In update 0.2.61, you no longer have to trade petz to collab on it together! You can edit petz owned by anyone, as long as you're one of the pixers and the owner has edit enabled. It's easier than ever:

1. Click on the creator button on any pet you've made
2. Search for other players and add them to edit the petz!
3. Make sure editing is toggled on by the owner of the petz.

The invited player also needs to be on update .61 for everything to work. Have fun!

In update 0.2.59, SoYi baked a cake sofa, and other new furniture!

Also, UI has been updated in the Petz page (with thanks to AdelineCharmed) so that you can now refresh while waiting for permission to collab, instead of restarting the app. It should be much easier to discover the extra features!

In update 0.2.58, up to 10 players can be added as pixers to a single pet, so you can collaborate! Here's how:

1. Create a petz
2. Give petz to friend
3. Go to the petz' page, tap the top-right corner, and toggle editable

Try it and see for yourself!

P.S., SoYi's new carpet and Atlas' new sofa are now available for purchase.

It's a new month, so check out the shop for this month's exclusives! New surprises were also added to the Luxury box, brought to you by Casiopea, Miki, and sketchi. You can choose your preferred species in update 0.2.57!

There's also new furniture, made by Atlas (rock sofa) and SoYi (clover carpet). They'll be available for purchase once more people get the newest update!

March 15th is Pixel Petz' first anniversary, so be sure to check in then!

More boxes are in, and token limit raised! Vexel has prepared a whole Cupid set, which you can get by trading in Cupid's Arrows.

Artists Casiopea, Miki, Rosiesunny, Vexel, and Wolf8125 have also prepared a new event box, which you can get by trading in chocoham mouths.

New artist AdelineCharmed, who's been a big help with the UI/UX lately, makes her debut in this box too!

A third box with partz from helpers and mods Azuren, ForbiddenBoi, JTkuroneko, L1LYFL0W3R, Lucas15, and RaineRii can be obtained by trading in bundle o’ joys.

Plus a giant Happy Birthday to our artist Atlas! There sure has been a lot of birthdays this month, but don’t miss out on a special birthday partz by Atlas in the shop!

It's Valentine's day! And so begins the Valentine's event: you may randomly find giftz when you visit petz pages, from now until the end of this month! Trade them in at the Shop for something special... may your days be filled with chocolate!

You'll notice this new option appear on other players' teen and adult petz, why not try sending a Valentine and see what happens? ❤
