Last weekend, Scarlett travelled down to Cardiff for trials with the Welsh Gymnastics Squad. Although we don’t find out if she’s made the squad for two weeks,  she did extremely well hitting some personal best. Such an achievement to even be asked to trial for the whole of Wales

Well done to Elsie for completing Swimming Wave 2. She is now looking forward to starting in Wave 3.

Remembrance 

This week in our Collective Worship and in classes we have been thinking about Remembrance.  Year 1 and 2 enjoyed a visit from Lane Corporal Jones of the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards.

Remembrance Service 

On Saturday 9th November, children are encourage to join Mr Williams in representing Minera School in the Minera Remembrance Service to held at the War Memorial in Minera (next to the bus stop).

 We will need to meet at the Bus Stop at 10:40am. Children are encouraged to wear their school uniform.

As this event is taking place on a Saturday, children must be accompanied by an adult. Your presence at this event would be greatly valued.

Parents Evening 

On Monday 11th and Tuesday 12th November next week is our first Parents Evening of the academic year. Appointments have been sent out today with children so please check bags and coats.

We would like invite parents, family and friends to the Year 5 and 6 Class Service on Friday 15th October at 9:15am. Everyone welcome! 

Please note the planned Family Worship for Year 3/4 has been postponded and will be rescheduled during the Spring Term.
