Honor Your Feelings

It’s normal and expected to have feelings and reactions to the coronavirus outbreak. We might find ourselves actively trying to fight these feelings, which can be emotionally tiring.

Here's an exercise to help let go of any overwhelming feelings that you may be experiencing. Click play to watch a video to walk you through this practice, or scroll down to read the steps.



Take a moment, inhale and exhale and then choose how you want to respond.

Remember, you can choose how you want to react to a situation.

When you feel yourself experiencing negative emotions, don’t hold on to it. Within 90 seconds you will see that emotion fade away.

The key is to not engage with the feeling, but rather acknowledge it, and let it pass.
