Four medalists lead the way to a top-10 finish

A busy opening weekend concluded at the Kearney Invite, which featured five of the top ten ranked Class A schools plus teams from Kansas and Texas. Four medalists led the way for the whippets in Keira Crane (2nd), Victoria Hansen (3rd), Ella Warburton (5th), and Cristal Gonzalez (6th). All nine wrestlers won matches and contributed team points, and along the way Keira Crane tied the school record for career tech falls at 7, previously notched by Myia Hofaker.

The girls will get back in the room to work on everything they learned this weekend, before traveling to Wood River on Thursday and the Crete Invite on Saturday.
