Lady whippets blank Central City

The lady whippet wrestlers made quick work of Central City Thursday in their dual at the Bison Dome. There were only two contested matches, and both were won by Minden via first period fall. Myka Petersen and Autumn Johnson recorded the two wins as B#1 Minden ran away with it 78-0. It broke the record for the most lopsided victory in school history, topping a 66-0 mark against St. Paul and against Adams Central in 2021, when there were only 12 weight classes.

The whippets continue a busy weekend tomorrow at the elite John Higgins Invitational featuring 55 ranked wrestlers before closing with junior varsity attending the Axtell Invite on Saturday.
