Meet the Teacher
Hello! My name is Mrs. Bolte and I am very excited to be teaching on the third grade team at Aux Sable Elementary School. I am thrilled to be your teacher and I am looking forward to a year of learning, engagement, and adventures! I cannot wait to learn all about my students but first, let me tell you a little about myself.
I was born and raised in Morris, Illinois and still live there today with my husband, Zach and our twins, Sage and Gatlin. I attended college at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois where I graduated with my degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I recently graduated with my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through Olivet Nazarene University. I am very excited to use all my new strategies in the classroom this year! Last year, I completed my third year teaching third grade. I am very fortunate to be coming back for my fourth year of teaching in the same grade! In my free time, I love spending time with my friends and family, playing outside with Zaney, our husky, and searching teacher blogs for new and exciting things to implement in my classroom!
There is so much that I am looking forward to this year! My goal is to help your child reach their full potential this year. I attempt to teach with passion for my subjects so that my students develop a desire to become life-long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is so important to keep communication open between parents, students, and the teacher and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need. I look forward to great year together!
