The POSSE Project - Research Program with Marquette

Enrollment is Open for The POSSE Project, a research study for 18–20-year-olds in the U.S. The research will begin June 2024. The aim of The POSSE Project is to support young adults in managing sickle cell disease. They will engage in topics/activities on sickle cell management, leadership development, team building, and networking. 

 

Also included:

*Dorm accommodations

*Meals/snacks for the week

*Expert facilitators lead the sessions

*Stipend upon completion of The POSSE week, monthly peer sessions, and surveys

*Travel stipend for those living outside of Wisconsin

*A tablet for completing surveys

*Monthly peer mentoring for 6 months July-December 2024

*The opportunity to meet other young adults living with SCD

*The opportunity to contribute to development of The POSSE Project
