By the end of the Junior year, MHS Global Scholar Candidates should complete the items under each drop-down heading below.

All items should be recorded and documented in the student's Conferencing Form and Portfolio.
Coursework
One additional credit of a World Language (French, Spanish, or Heritage Spanish) with a grade of B or better
Another credit of additional GSP coursework (see list of eligible courses) with a grade of B or better
Cultural Literacy
One reading from the Global Scholars Book List
Consume one additional piece of global media (book, film, art show, newspaper, magazine, etc.)
A reflection paper on the Global Scholars Book List reading + the additional global media you chose, meeting expectations on the rubric
Global Citizenship
Documented active participation in at least one Global Citizenship activity.
A reflection paper on your Global Citizenship experience, meeting or exceeding expectations on the rubric.
Service Project
The first steps of implementation for the Service Project, under the guidance of the Global Coordinator.
