MSAA (Multi-State Alternative Assessment): https://www.msaaassessment.org/user
The EdDocVermont Accommodations Bank now includes the recently released Cognia universal tools, designated supports and accommodations for the general assessment as well as accommodations and accessibility features for the alternate assessment (MSAA). Much of this is similar to the Smarter Balanced (SBAC) tools, supports and accommodations, so to preempt confusion the SBAC items will be remove from the bank.
Many items are similar to SBAC but note that there are some differences. For example, the SBAC designated support allowed text-to-speech as a designated support for ELA items but Cognia does not. Rather, it appears that text-to-speech for any aspect of ELA now requires an accommodation.
The EdDocVermont Accommodations Bank delineates the general and alternate items by the Author field (i.e., Cognia Gen and Cognia Alt). Items are further delineated by Level:
ALT-AC: Alternate Accommodation
ALT-AF: Alternate Accessibility Feature
AC-E: General Embedded Accommodation
AC-NE: General Non-embedded Accommodation
DS-E: General Embedded Designated Support
DS-NE: General Non-embedded Designated Support
UT-E: General Embedded Universal Tool
UT-NE: General Non-embedded Universal Tool
The paper Alternate Accessibility Features are only listed separately if they differ from the standard, non-paper Alternate Accessibility Features. In those cases, paper is included in the Category heading, e.g., Answer Masking - Paper.
After importing from the bank, review the IEP accommodations list and set the State indicator for items that apply to the Cognia assessments. Setting the State indicator upon selection will be automated this week but needs to be done manually in the meantime. The State indicator assists with generating state accommodation reports when preparing for the Cognia assessments.
While items have been modified to improve consistency, syntax and grammar, they are based on the VTCAP Accessibility and Accommodations guide and the MSAA Test Administration Manual so be sure to refer to those for more detailed information. Further adjustments to the EdDocVermont Accommodations Bank are possible as the AOE releases guidance.

Teachers do not need accounts in ADAM. The "Teacher" role's responsibilities is to review and edit accommodations. See Coral and Maggie for list of individuals that need to make those adjustments.
