About Me

I am married 18 years to my amazing husband Keith. We  have three beautiful children and one adorable Aussiedoodle, Chloe. My oldest, Alyssa, is going into 10th grade. She loves musical theater and is on the field hockey team at Smithtown East. Nick is going into 8th grade and Cole is going into 5th grade. I spend the majority of my time outside of school cheering for them on the baseball field. This summer, Cole won the 10U Little League Districts and Sectionals and got the chance to compete at States in Endecott, NY. He also took second place at Ripkin in MD. Nick went to Copperstown and his team made the Elite 8 placing 7th out of 82 teams. It's been a fun filled summer of baseball. 

Teaching

This year will be my 24th year teaching!!! I have been teaching here at Miller Place for 21 years.  I worked for Sachem for two years as a 6th and a 1st grade teacher, Three Village for one year as a 1st grade teacher. During my teaching career, I have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I have a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Math and Computer Science. I also have a Masters in Literacy. I have taught every grade except Kindergarten and Second grade.
