Melinda Miller

A native of Colquitt, GA, I attended the Miller County School System.  I am a 1995 honor graduate of Miller County High School, where I received my diploma in College Preparatory/Vocational Education.  After graduating from high school, I attended Bainbridge College and Albany State University (ASU).  I am a 1999 honor graduate of Bainbridge College, where I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Teacher Education, and I am a 2002 Summa Cum Laude graduate of ASU, where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education. After receiving my certification, I worked as an interrelated special education high school math teacher in the Decatur County School System. The following school year, I returned to my alma mater as a 7th grade middle school math teacher. “Once A Pirate Always A Pirate!” Throughout my twenty-three years of teaching experience, I have also taught reading and English Language Arts.
