Message from Miss Jamieson - Head Teacher

On behalf of Drakies Primary School and Early Learning & Childcare Centre (ELCC) I would like to extend a very warm welcome to you and your child.  Drakies Primary School and ELC is a non-denominational establishment which aims to provide a nurturing and safe environment in which your child can develop and learn.  

We hope that you find the information contained within this website to be helpful and informative but we also communicate with parents via email, HT and class/ELC newsletters to keep parents updated on what is happening in school.  Please let us know if there is anything further you would like us to include. 

I am delighted to be continuing as headteacher at Drakies and look foward to continuing to work with the staff, pupils, parents and wider community. We very much operate an 'open door' policy at Drakies so please feel free to catch me in the morning at the gate, pick up the phone or come in to see me should you have any questions, concerns or suggestions relating to your child's wellbeing and/or learning. Working together, we can ensure your child develops the necessary skills to support their progress, achievement, and future success.
