We are officially in the third quarter of the school year! Middle of the year Math and ELA IXL assessments have been conducted, along with other benchmark assessments. The data provided from these assessments is used to ensure each of our Elm Drive Blazers is receiving personalized instruction. As a reminder, student report cards will not be printed. Report cards are accessible within the ParenVue Portal of Synergy. If you need assistance navigating this, please contact the main office for support.
March may be National Reading Month, but February has been known as I Love to Read Month! Turn off the TV, put away your tablet, quiet your phone, and cuddle up with a good book to help celebrate I Love to Read Month. Check out the Bingo reading challenge below!

Millbrook Central School District has been approved to implement a program available to schools participating in the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).
All enrolled students of Millbrook Central School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no cost to your household each day of the school year. Your children will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. Children who would like to have a second meal, snacks, or beverages will have the opportunity to purchase them or utilize the money on their account. If your child(ren)'s account has a balance at the end of the year those balances will roll over to the next year or you may request a refund.
Elm Drive After School Tutoring
As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the academic success of our students, we are pleased to announce a twice weekly after-school tutoring program designed to provide additional assistance to identified students. Students have been selected to participate in this program based on area of concern and level of need. We believe this extra support will further enhance their understanding of key concepts and contribute to their overall success in school.
Each After School Tutoring cycle will last 10 weeks. Student data will be collected during such time, and participating students will be cycled out to allow for other students in need to begin.
If you feel your child is in need of additional academic support, please do not hesitate to reach out to me to discuss how your child can be best supported.
