Foran Key  Club

Advisor: Mrs. Cathy Ganun cganun@milforded.org

Meetings: Every Tuesday  2:00-3:00 in the Cafeteria

Key club is an international student-led organization which provides its members with opportunities to not only serve their community but to various places around the world that are in need.  Also, Key Club builds character and helps students develop leadership skills.

We work alongside with Milford's Kiwanis International group to help make our community a better place and find many different ways to help individuals.  Being a part of Key Club is a great way to earn your 200 hours of community service which earns you the honor of "Graduating with Distinction."  Community service is what colleges look for on student resumes/applications.

The Foran Key Club works hard to participate in large service projects such as Project Eliminate, Red Cross Blood Drives, Salvation Army, etc.  We also participate in local groups/events which involves our elementary schools, Milford Library, Milford Garden Club, Pumpkins on the Pier, Oyster Festival, Nate the Great's 5K Race, and much more.

We encourage students to be "active" members and come to our meetings so that they are part of the planning of different volunteer events as well as various community projects.  The Foran Key Club is a perfect club to join  if you are a student athlete or someone who has another activity during our meetings.  All we ask is for you to join Remind, Key Club Google Classroom, check the Key Club Bulletin Board as well as check in with the advisor via email or common time for upcoming events.

The MANDATORY club expectation is to VOLUNTEER for events as well as participate in club service projects/fundraisers.  This will allow the Foran Key Club to continue being a successful community service based club.
