MIHS IT Cluster Website

Message from your teachers

Dear IT students,

As you have heard, school buildings in New York City will be closed until, at the earliest, Monday, April 20th. But, learning will still happen!

Beginning Monday, March 23rd, school will become 'remote' or 'virtual'. This means that we will be doing all our learning online.

We will be using Google Classroom and Schoology to send you your assignments and to collect them. We will also use zoom and gmail to communicate with you if you have any questions about assignments. Look at the "Teacher Online Hours" information at the bottom of this page to find out when your teachers will be available to help Monday-Friday.

What this also means, is that we need you to be especially responsible for your learning. You should check your email every day and make sure you respond to our emails.

Explore this website! We will be updating it with more information that could be helpful for you and your families. Right now, we have information on important websites for announcements, fun and interesting websites to check out to continue learning, and food banks.

Also, always make sure to check out our MIHS school website (click here!) and the NYC Department of Education's website (click here!)

We are here for you, always. Never hesitate to send us an email or contact us to ask us questions or concerns.

Stay safe and healthy!

Your teachers,

Ms. Darlene, Mr. Martin, Mr. Brian, Ms. Yanira, and Ms. Kholood
