Course description: Midwives strive to enact evidence-informed practice (EIP), or commonly referred to as evidence-based care. As such, it is important to have tools in order to understand the statistical analyses which occur in research studies. This course introduces the common statistical analysis seen in research papers and gives students an understanding of the different types of tests, their differing usages, and common concerns around statistical analysis.
