[ENGL 1050 : Technical Writing for Midwives]

Course description: This course prepares students with the foundational skills necessary for successful written communication as a student and professional midwife. Course topics include basic grammar and punctuation, use of research tools, basic writing skills, and will require students to identify and use appropriate tone and language for various audiences and intents. There is a strong focus on development of proficiency in using APA style and format and can be applied in future MCU classes and immediately upon completion of this course.
