DESCRIPTION:
This course aims to provide understanding of and tools for management of common complications of lactation, including counseling skills and techniques, creation of practice documents, reflective practice, and appropriate use of consultation and referral. Case studies are utilized to demonstrate the application of clinical judgment and management within the scope of practice of the Certified Professional Midwife.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
