CLNC 3050/3090 - Phase 3 Competencies - 3cr.

COURSE PURPOSE & OVERVIEW: 

Students demonstrate practical skills and competencies necessary to begin acting as an independent primary midwife and prepare for Phase Three Assessment. 

SPECIFIC LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 

At the conclusion of this course, students will: 

● Be oriented to and prepared for Phase Three Integrated Assessment 

● Practice skills appropriate for entry-level midwifery practice 

● Demonstrate fluency in appropriate clinical judgment and decision making 

● Pass Phase Three Integrated Assessment with a score of Competent or higher
