Gifted and Talented Literacy Night was a wonderful success! Students in 1st–6th grade showcased their creativity through completed Pizza Box Book Reports, highlighting their understanding of literature in a fun and engaging way. Students in 7th–12th grade presented their Favorite Music Decade Poster/Playlist Projects, combining research, analysis, and creativity to explore the impact of music across different eras. It was a fantastic evening celebrating literacy, learning, and student talent!
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is a fast-paced reflex and pattern-recognition game.
Players take turns saying:
Taco → Cat → Goat → Cheese → Pizza
If the spoken word matches the card flipped, everyone slaps the pile. Last hand down takes the stack.
It’s chaotic. It’s loud. It’s surprisingly cognitively demanding.
Taco vs Burrito is a light strategy card game where players build the wildest (and most valuable) taco or burrito using ingredient cards.
Players draft ingredient cards
Action cards can steal, swap, or sabotage
Some ingredients are absurd (e.g., chocolate-covered beef, hot yogurt 😆)
The highest-scoring creation wins
It looks silly — but there’s real strategy underneath.
