Dates:

  • December 5th - 7PM at Midview High School Kubuski Gym
  • March 11th - 7PM at Midview High School Kubuski Gym
  • May 15th - 7PM at Midview High School Kubuski Gym

Attire:

6th grade band:

  • White dress shirt
  • Black dress pants
  • Black dress shoes

7th/8th grade band:

  • Blue band polo (purchased through the boosters)
  • Black dress pants
  • Black dress shoes

Procedures:

6th grade band:

  • Arrive MHS @ 6:00
  • Warmup @ 6:15

7th grade band:

  • Arrive MHS @ 6:30
  • Warmup @ 6:45

8th grade band:

  • Arrive MHS @6:15
  • Warmup @ 6:30

Grading

100 points per concert

Unexcused absence from the concert results in a ZERO.

Pre-planned absence: Fill out the Absence Request Form ahead of time (at least two weeks). If approved, the student can complete a makeup assignment for full credit. If unapproved, the grade is a ZERO.

Excused absences from school are excused from the concert and your child will complete a makeup assignment.

Unexcused absence from school will result in a ZERO.

Concert attire & concert etiquette are included components of your child's grade. If they are not in proper uniform or behave inappropriately during the concert, that will be reflected in your child's grade.
