Community Garden

An enthusiastic group of members has started work on the design and layout of the garden and Jim McColl, recently retired from his television Beechgrove Garden work, has joined the team to advise on the Bible Garden Project.

The reasons for the initiative were:

• To create a new community facility.

• To make the Church grounds more accessible

• To provide a small area for quiet contemplation in the heart of the community.

• To provide an educational facility

• To extend our links with schools, young people and youth groups.

• To have a garden that encourages us to develop our understanding of the stories of the Bible.
