Scouts
Within the Parish, there is an active Scouting community.
Scouting gives young people more confidence, responsibility, a broader set of friends, a chance to pursue things they might not get to do otherwise, adventure and an extended family.
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section in The Scout Association and are aged 6 -8 years old.
Cub Scouts are for boys and girls aged 8 to 10. They meet in a Cub Pack. As Cubs, they have lots of fun activities such as making things and going on visits.
The Scout Section is for young people, usually aged between 10½ and 14 years. A young person can come in to a troop at 10 years and may stay until they are 15 years old.
